Need a Little Inspiration (Wall)

I've been watching a lot of YouTube vlogs of artists lately and got this wonderful idea! Several of them have inspiration walls in their studio spaces where they hang up artwork and images that inspire them and special mementos from subscribers and friends. Just simple things that remind them of why they do their artwork and how important beauty is in their world.

So I have a blank wall in the living room above where I do all my planning, cutting, and dreaming. I have a small craft room/clothes room but there isn't enough room to have all of my sewing things so I have taken over the dining table. We changed the layout of the room to better fit our furniture and so the dining table is now where the big TV used to be. We hadn't put anything on the wall since we moved the room around and I had been thinking of getting a large poster or something for that space before I saw these artists' beautiful spaces. I was thinking I could also get a large cork board and put photos of purses I want to make or that inspire me. One artist used Washi tape to put things up on the wall. That way you can change things around and make the whole wall more fluid and add new things. So I went to Etsy to see what artwork I could order to put on my wall. I was thinking of botanical prints or psychedelic posters or something. After a very frustrating search, I thought about all the scrapbook supplies I have. These are pretty things I never want to put into a scrapbook or cover up with photos. So I opened up all my scrapbook stuff and sifted through it and found some very good pieces - mostly inspirational quotes. I also decided to create a few scrapbook pages with those photos of inspirational purses.

I think it turned out pretty well. I also like that I can expand it or move things around as time goes on. It could also provide a nice backdrop if I ever decide to do any vlogging of my own!
